New England Theater Conference (NETC) has recognized Linda Potter
as the 2011 Theater
Educator of the Year.

 

 Linda Potter is the director of drama at ABRHS and the adviser of Proscenium Circus, where she has directed both plays and musicals for many years. She holds a Master’s Degree in theater education from Emerson College in Boston, where she was also a lecturer in the theater education department. She also holds a Master’s Degree in musical conducting and a Bachelor’s Degree in music education. She currently teaches acting and directing at ABRHS.

Linda has served on the board of the New England Theater Conference (NETC) and was chairman of the Secondary Division for two years. She has served as a judge for the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theaters (EMACT) and for the Moss Hart Competition. She has also directed productions for and served on the boards of Open Door Theater and Theatre III, community theaters in Acton, MA.
